Library became my second home recently. Everyday whenever I have free time, I will be in the library. I’m in the rush to chase the time, which is running out. I come back home only after the library closes at 12am. When I cycle back home at night, I will pass by the dark alley that runs along the river behind Hafenstrasse. One night, I was feeling especially tired, and lonely, before I reach my home. I slowed down, and eventually stopped cycling.
I climbed down instead and sat beside the river, watched the sky which was so full of stars that night. I asked myself: Why am I trying so hard to chase the time? Can’t I just stop for a moment and wait as the time flows by? Instead of cycling so fast, why not try to take a break, sit down and watch as the train passes by?
Then it occurred to me. Time will continue to flow no matter what happen. So, why the need to chase it? I don’t need to chase the time… I just need time. There’s no need to chase it, nothing can be done to stop it, so there’s no need to worry about it. No need to make life so difficult…
I feel at loss again. As if the feeling of having no aim in life. Void and emptiness. It’s good to know that she has friends. I have friends too. But……do I? Do I have anyone?
I know what I’m doing. I know where I’m going. Even though I choose to take the difficult path, I believe it’s the right path. I know my decision and I know what I have to do already. I just need to follow my heart, let it leads me thru… the darkness…
Life will never be the same again.
It seems that for exam, I need time, for this, I need time too. Everything will be alright eventually.
I always believe that 50% of success depends on me, whereas the other 50% depends on fate. I guess I have already done the best for my 50% part, the rest I should just leave it to fate and not worry so much about it.

Happy New Year 2010
For me, snowfall always means something meaningful. Yesterday night, the 1st day of the New Year 2010 greeted us with a snowfall, thus marking the beginning of a new year.

Today is sunny and snow. It’s a good weather.
Year 2009 has passed. It is time to start fulfilling the resolution of the New Year! For many of us however, it means holiday’s over and it’s time to prepare for exam again. For some people, it is the departure of the one they loves, who came previously for a visit just to celebrate New Year together. Maybe, for some people, it is time to face the harsh reality. There are probably a lot of people out there in this world who spent the New Year alone…

No matter what, it’s time. Time to let bygone be bygone. Goodbye 2009 and welcome 2010!
It is not the beginning. Neither is it the end. It is but a beginning.
Happy New Year!

Keep moving forward
I have been kinda moody since yesterday. Have been thinking a lot since the trip back from Paris. Thinking about what have been, what could have been, what can be and what will be. There's still so many things that I worry about, so many problems unsolved. I feel so lost again, can't see what lies ahead, I just want to crawl back into my bed and sleep throughout the whole day, running away from reality.

2 years ago, if I didn't choose to come to Mannheim, I won't be able get to know with so many people in Mannheim. Got Jian Nong, Meilina, Jhan Yhan, Kuiz, Sin Mei, Big Mouth, Wei Xiang, Wei Chieak, Chung Huan, Vlynn, Phoon, Siew Tee and so many others. I just didn't realize how fast time flies in just a blink of eyes.
Back to 4 and a half years ago, if I didn't get the JPA scholarship, I won't be here in Germany at all, and I won't be able to get to know with Etong, Jing Xin, Kai Chiat, Ying Jo, Yinnin, Qi Hao, Daniel, Pau, Xiang Yu, Theng2 and etc... I really miss the time back in INTEC, where we had a lot of fun and get crazy together.

Time just can't turn back, isn't it?
Die beste Zeit ist schon vorbei!
I came back from Paris to find out that the figurine I bought from Disneyland is broken. Haiz... very sad...

I hate losses, I don't like the feeling of losing something precious. I remember how I lost 2 of my memory cards back in Poland last time with all the precious memorable pictures inside. I even remember how my wallet with 300 euro got stolen back in Madrid. I remember many of my friends back in Malaysia, how I eventually lost contact with them because of my laziness to keep in touch. Maybe, someday in the future I will meet them again... Hopefully...
Time flies so fast, people go in and out of my life. I just don't want to miss the chance to tell these people how much they meant to me. I really cherish and appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart. And last but not least, I love my family the most!
I don't really want my moodiness to affect the people around me. So I think it's better if I just swallow up all the feelings. There's no reason for anyone else to get gloomy just because of me. So I will just look forward and keep moving. That's the way to go!

Christmas 2009
A week before Christmas, Etong, her mum, her brother and me went to Freiburg. As usual, Freiburg is bustled with people and activities even when it's snowing heavily.
After that we took a train to reach a nearby lake, it's name is Titisee (sister of Tasik Titiwangsa =D)
The lake was partly frozen.

It was freezing cold and my hand was trembling hard trying to get some good pictures of these ducks.

The cold wind was blowing hard and I'm pretty sure my nose and ears almost came off while I was trying to take photograph. Brrrr~~

But anyway, it was quite an enjoyable experience for me. Haha. I find it to be quite exciting actually. Seriously, I don't really mind the cold. As I always said, I rather die in cold than in hot weather. =P

We went to the restaurant beside the lake to eat it's homemade black forest cake. It's one of the best! Highly recommended!

On Christmas's eve, we took a train to Paris. We planned to celebrate Christmas there.
First we went to visit Arc de Triomphe.

After that we walked down the main street and had some sight-seeing in the city.
At night, it began to rain. After we checked in our apartment, we went to see the Moulin Rouge. We didn't get inside though, haha.

The rain became quite heavy by the time we reached the Eiffel tower. It wasn't so enjoyable. Trying to get some pictures of the tower resulted in my totally wet camera. Luckily my camera is still alright.

The next day, we went to the Paris Disneyland. We went into the Disneyland Park first.

Here's the Disneyland castle!

This is Alice's Curious Labyrinth!

After that, we went to the Walt Disney Studio Park.

Etong's brother and me went to take some roller coasters. We went to this Hollywood Tower Hotel as well. It's actually a lift that let you free fall, quite exciting actually =D

The Disneyland castle at night!

We went to the Disneyland Village as well.

It was quite a sight actually, it's so colourful that it made my eyes felt colourful. Hehe.

There was this group of men that sang some Christmas songs. Then it struck me: Hey! Today is Christmas! Somehow I forgot it's Christmas. How strange. Something deep inside me stirred, as I watched Etong and her family together... I felt as if I'm out of place here...

It's the feel of loneliness... Homesick... I miss my mum and dad, my sisters and brother. Here I am, at a place so far away from home... I will go home, someday. I hope that day will come soon.
Basically we really spent the whole day at Disneyland, reached back to our apartment only at around midnight. We were really dead tired.
On the next day, which was also our last day in Paris, we went to see the Notre Dame.

And revisited the Eiffel tower again. Well, in daylight, the Eiffel tower is nothing more than just a tower made from besi buruk. Lol. So I tried to take some pictures of it from different perspectives.

I took this photo while we were walking towards the metro station. Everyone seems to be moving very fast, each with their own goal to reach...

We went to the Louvre museum as well. We didn't get inside though.

Waiting for the time to pass by as we walked around in the city.

Bought the famous macarons!

Finally, we took the night train and reached Mannheim at around 10 pm.
That's how I celebrated the Christmas this year =)
By the way, I just realized that my camera have gone through a lot with me this time. Together we were in freezing cold weather, got wet in rain and went up and down in roller coaster. My camera and me are real buddies now! =D

Sin Mei and my birthday!
13th December, that's my birthday. Hey! It's Sin Mei's too!
I just found out not long ago that Sin Mei and I share the same birthday!
So we had a brunch birthday party last Sunday at Jian Nong's place.

The food is nasi lemak with sambal udang and rendang ayam!

Wei Cheaik said: I'm a vegetarian.................no more! See his proud looking face! Heehee

This is Big Mouth. He's...... washing the dishes??? So unbelieveable!!! No wonder that day snow la... Haha!

His real name is....erm....Yon Chuang?? Never mind. Big Mouth fits him better. =D The reason is that, of all the 10 things that he said, 11 of them are not to be trusted!
This is Siew Tee, the Asti Queen!

Why is she the Asti Queen? Just look how happy she was when drinking Asti wine!

My birthday card! It's full of cats!

Sin Mei's birthday card! Her's got dogs one!

Finally, I would like to thank everyone for coming to this birthday party!
